Hmmmm...Reckon we're gonna be seeing this technique employed everywhere soon >>> Microsoft Research has developed a "method for converting first-person videos - for example, as captured with a helmet camera during activities such as rock climbing or bicycling - into hyperlapse videos" (aka "time-lapse videos with a smoothly moving camera"):
