'Seeing-Eye' Ring 9 Jul 2014

First featured on our blog back in February, FingerReader is a "smart ring" that assists the visually impaired with reading printed text. (In addition to scanning the text, it uses vibration motors and other cues to help users read in a straight line across the page). In this video from the AP, we see the latest prototype:
