Every Day of My Life 10 May 2013
Polish artist, programmer and designer Marcin Ignac documented his computer usage over a period of two and half years, then created a series of curiously striking and beautiful visualisations based upon the data.
Marcin explains that each line represents one day with each coloured block corresponding with the foreground app running at that moment. Black areas are periods when Marcin's computer was not turned on—revealing sleeping patterns, or lack of them, and holidays and travel.
