California-based start-up Predict Gaze is developing software that will allow a mobile device, computer or TV to detect and respond to the users' facial expressions, eye movements, gestures and gender using their device's front-facing camera.
Take a look at the video demos below to see someone (i) mute the music playing on a computer via a "shush" gesture; (ii) scroll up and down in a browser by looking up and down; and (iii) pause a TV by leaving the room.
