Patterned by Nature 30 Apr 2012
Made from 3,600 tiles of LCD glass, Patterned by Nature is a "scuptural ribbon" that reproduces common patterns found in nature ("ranging from clouds to rain drops to colonies of bacteria to flocking birds to geese to cuttlefish skin to pulsating black holes"). It's installed in the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.
