Tesco Homeplus Virtual Subway Stores 6 Jul 2011
In an effort to boost sales, Tesco Homeplus installed virtual stores on subway platforms in South Korea. Commuters were able to browse virtual 2D shelves and shop by snapping products' QR codes with their smartphones. The goods were then delivered to their homes later that evening!
