Tuned Pale Ale 26 Aug 2010

Tuned Pale Ale is "a product that explores the musical affordances in everyday objects and promotes social spontaneity. While drinking beer, people become musically encouraged and often start making music with objects around them. This product aims to promote more of this type of social interaction."

As is the case with all bottles, drinkers can play a musical note by blowing across the rim. What's clever about Tuned Pale Ale bottles, however, is that drinkers can determine exactly which note they will play by checking the amount of beer left in their bottle against a series of marks printed on the label. Oh, and the case can be used as a drum!

This is the kind of thing I try to teach people. Can we expect a sequel?
