"Reaction [beta]"
Plane and simple 22 Feb 2010
Being something of a plane-spotter, I was rather taken by South Africa's Kulula airline's recent rebranding. Dubbed "Flying 101", Kulula's planes highlight their various design and command components along the fuselage, from the co-captain to the nose cone and even (my favourite) the "secret agent code"!
While I find the technical detail fascinating, I wonder whether aviophobia sufferers find it reassuring to know where the black box is, or whether this additional insight makes the journey all the more terrifying?
