Etre Get Together 2009: Photos from Day One 29 May 2009

Thanks once again to all who attended Etre Get Together 2009 at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London last week (and our meet-n-greet on the night in between). We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

In case you missed it, the event brought together the two leading lights in the field of user experience - Lou Rosenfeld and Steve Krug. We probably don't need to tell you this - but just in case you've been living under a rock for the last ten years - Lou wrote the polar-bear-fronted Information Architecture for the World Wide Web - aka "the information architect's bible" - while Steve wrote Don't Make Me Think - aka "the user experience architect's bible". We honestly don't think we could have asked for two better speakers - or two nicer ones.

Anyway, as promised, here are a few photos from Lou's day-long hands-on workshop on Site Search Analytics, as taken by Etre's favourite photographer Gilbert McCarragher (Photos from Steve's workshop on Discount Usability to follow). Click on them to see larger versions...

The attendees tuck into their lunch.

Etre's Paul Schwartfeger ghosts into the event.
