WWF Brazil recently launched a campaign which asked visitors to cinemas, gyms and reception areas to make donations by placing their coins on magnetic posters. When complete, the posters displayed images of various types of endangered animals that are helped by the WWF using people's generous donations.
While the final results are impressive, I don't think any donations would last long if such a poster was displayed at my local Odeon cinema!

...they also wouldn't amount to much as (I think) only our 1p and 2p coins are magnetic.
