Palm Pre: iPhone killer? 9 Jan 2009

Just when you thought Apple and Blackberry had put pay to them forever, Palm goes and makes a Lazarus-style return from the dead...The Palm Pre has a touchsceen display - its lower half allowing gestural input - WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, 8GB of built-in flash storage and a 3 megapixel camera with LED flash, plus an all-new operating system which Palm claims provides laptop-style power! Best of all, it has a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. (As an iPhone user, I hate typing anything more than a sentence on its touchscreen keypad, so this would be a major bonus for me.)
