Microprinter 22 Jan 2009

Tom Taylor's "microprinter" is "an experiment in physical activity streams and notification, using a repurposed receipt printer connected to the web".

It's purpose? To enable you to print out reminders, calendar items, weather summaries, news, instant messager transcripts and any other text-only, short-format information.

One word: Genius!

(Reminded us of Schulze & Webb's my social mailbox project...which is unsurprising since this looks to have been the source of Tom's inspiration.)
