Little Boots: Ready for the fun! 6 Jan 2009
Check out Little Boots' awesome cover of HotChip's "Ready for the Floor" (Be sure to wait for the vocal). It's awesome for two reasons: First, Little Boots plays the Tenori-On - the revolutionary new digital instrument from Japan that we've featured extensively on this blog. Second, as Iain Tait points out, the artiste clearly "gets the internet" - filmed via a webcam and in what appears to be her bedroom, the performance is intimate, quirky and engaging - and thus a million miles better than your average pop promo video.
