The Christmas card art of Roy Doty 16 Dec 2008

Freelance cartoonist and illustrator Roy Doty has drawn a Christmas card for family and friends every year since 1946. Masterpieces of intricate design, the cards are fascinating to study. Check out the Rube-Goldberg-style example above, from 1971.
An interview with Doty - featuring an extensive gallery of his cards - can be found over on Hogan's Alley Magazine's site.
