Google Chrome: Another browser to develop for? 3 Sep 2008

Based upon what we've seen, read and heard over the last day-and-a-bit, it seems like the default response to the arrival of Google's new Chrome browser has been:

"Sheesh! Thanks a lot Google, that's another browser I now have to develop for!"

...Web developers/website owners/SEOs needn't worry, however. While Google Chrome is a new browser, its rendering engine has been kicking around for some time now. You see, Chrome is built on the back of WebKit, which is the same rendering engine that's used by Apple's Safari browser - so if your site is compatible with Safari it should work perfectly in Chrome! (And breathe!).
