Exposure puts Flickr in your pocket 11 Jul 2008

Well, iPhone 3G is finally here and its brought a whole host of interesting new apps along for the ride. Check out Exposure, for example - Fraser Speirs's great little Flickr client. It's best feature? We'll let Scott McNulty of The Unofficial Apple Weblog explain:
"The neatest feature, and the creepiest, is the 'Near Me' button. Press it, and through the magic of Core Location, Exposure will show you all the photos on Flickr that were taken near your current location."

iPhone 3G was launched in the UK at 8.02 this morning at O2 stores around the country. Thought I'd sneak down to my local store around 7.50 a.m for a look-see - confident that there wouldn't be the hype around this release that we saw during the initial iPhone launch. How wrong was I?! Sure, I was willing to queue for the initial iPhone (some 3 hours, from memory), though I was suprised by the incredible number of happy campers queued round the block by Moorgate for what's really only a modest upgrade of our existing toys :-S
