Check out this self-assembling chair from Cornell University. It serves no real practical purpose, but there's something cool about the way you can smash it into pieces and watch it slowly reassemble itself!

No real practical purpose? Imagine if IKEA's flatpack furniture did this the moment you opened the box!

There's something very creepy about this video. Reminds me of the evil robot from Terminator 2.
