Chinese satellite debris in Google Earth 11 Jun 2008

Robert Simpson's amazing Google Earth tool tracks the zillions of shattered pieces of the Fengyun 1C satellite - the satellite that the Chinese government shot down in January 2007. All that dangerous debris orbiting around our planet, means that we'll probably have to cancel Etre Space Tours 2009 now ;-)

Sheesh! How big are these pieces of debris? I'm assuming we're talking less than an inch and not feet!

Internet is written with the capital letter in a sentence, by the way. And hundredths are written not with a point but with a comma. This is according to the standard. And actually everything is very good..!
