C-Shirt: Remixable QR code t-shirts 4 Jun 2008

Read/Write Web has a great article on Nota's C-Shirt service - a service that can best be described as what you might get if you were to cross Threadless with Add to Friends Gear!

The service works like so: Each C-Shirt t-shirt features a small QR code in the corner. If you see a C-Shirt that you like - say, one that a friend is wearing - you take a photo of its QR code with your mobile phone. Your phone then processes this code and sends you to the shirt's unique URL on the Nota website, where you can review the design, customise it to your heart's content, and then buy it.

...Brilliant isn't it - it's a kind of t-shirt-based/Web 2.0 version of Telephone!
