How Apple got everything right by doing everything wrong 9 Apr 2008
We really enjoyed reading Wired's provocative article on "How Apple Got Everything Right by Doing Everything Wrong". Its author Leander Kahney posits that, while the rest of the business world touts open source, transparent, collaborative software development methods as the route to success, Apple continues to rake in profit from its "walled garden", opaque, "my way or the highway" approach. Scott Berkun's rebuttal makes an interesting counterpoint.
