The Times reports that girls and young women are now the most prolific web users. Yes, women are now driving growth in the areas of blogging, social networking, instant messaging and perhaps even computing!

Most likely we'll see a fortress world á la IT. Look for the complaints of sexism in how women are only the users/generators of content in a male driven framework in 2009! (You do remember the Gender Imbalance debacle through Zeldman, right?)
