Texting-on-the-go injures 6 million Brits 20 Mar 2008

Following on nicely from last week's post on Brick Lane's padded lampposts, The Daily Express reports that approximately 6 million Brits injured themselves while texting-and-walking last year. The Express's article is based on a study carried out by the telephone directory service company 118118, who found that one in ten Brits needed treatment for a range of ailments including broken noses, cheekbones and, in one case, a fractured skull! Whether the stats/findings are true or not, its definitely great publicity for 118118!
