The future of mobile devices? 25 Feb 2008

Check out Mac Funamizu's snappily-titled "Futuristic Mobile Device with Advanced Search Function". Sure, it's only a concept...but it's a pretty impressive one. It works like so: When you see something of interest - say, a building - you simply look at it through the device's translucent display, and it uses a combination of GPS, its in-built camera and the web to provide you with more information about it. Neat, huh?

That's amazing! There's one problem though: you'd need a backpack to carry it around in. Even a clown wouldn't be able to fit that into his pocket.
