Morph: Nokia's nanotech flexy-fones 27 Feb 2008
Developed in conjunction with the University of Cambridge, Nokia's new "Morph" project turns "a fibre similar to spider silk into the basis for all manner of flexible, shape-shifting gear". Morph-based handsets can be squished into a ball or stretched to form a full-size keyboard - they also clean themselves, recharge by solar energy and turn transparent as required. Take a look at the video clip below for more details - but don't get too excited, Morph-technology won't hit the streets for at least another seven years.

I'll eat my nano-hat if anything remotely like that is available in 2015.
