If you've ever had to cram for an exam, you'll immediately understand the benefit of this tool. Leapfrog's Crammer lets you create and review customised digital flashcards while listening to your favourite choons.
As you can see from the image above, it's pretty low tech - it's never going to kill the iPod - but that isn't the point. It is designed to be cheap so that students can afford to get their hands on them. To this end, the recommended retail price is just $60!

I think the real genius of this idea is that it gives kids a means of persuading their parents to buy them an MP3 player under the auspices of it providing an educational benefit ;)

To Zidge's point, if its really supposed to be a serious study device, why does it have music and games on it?
