Jeju Island's Human LCD 21 Feb 2008
This video clip shows two boys' high schools cheering on their respective soccer teams on Jeju Island, South Korea. At first, we thought it was faked, since the routines would be impossible to perform by simply holding up coloured cards. But this isn't the case. It turns out that they actually use their clothes instead. They have jackets that are one colour on the back, another on the front, and when opened, reveal a third colour in the form of the wearer's shirt. Rumour has it that one school has even figured out a way to incoprorate a fourth colour by virtue of flashing their pants! (Hopefully, that's "pants" in the American sense of the word, and not the British, however!).

Makes holding up a plastic bag to create the St George's cross at Wembley seem a bit pathetic, doesnt it?

The kids call it "shirt section" or something like that. I used to teach on Jeju. The kids are pretty fantastic.
