The world's loneliest Prada store 7 Jan 2008

Somewhere off the I-90 near the small town of Valentine, Texas lies this tiny Prada store. Built as a promotional stunt by two German artists - Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset - the store stocks genuine Prada merchandise, including a nice selection of shoes and bags. It is thought that very few people have actually been inside however, and that money has never changed hands at the premises.

What a great promo stunt! What could be more exclusive / luxurious (as far as a designer brand is concerned) than having an entire highway to yourself?!

As people have said elsewhere, why hasn't somebody robbed it yet? :-S
