Delphi's dual-view navigation system 16 Jan 2008
Check out Dephi's new dual-view in-car navigation system (as demo'ed by Mahalo Daily's Veronica Belmont on behalf of Engadget). It shows sat nav to the driver, while at the same time showing a DVD to the person in the passenger seat:
Apparently, it uses something called a "parallax barrier" and a special TFT LCD display to perform the dual-screen magic, and - in case you missed it - it includes weight sensors built into the driver's seat to shut off the video content should your chauffeur lean over in an attempt to sneak a peek at your DVD.
