BusinessWeek on Target and web accessibility 18 Dec 2007

We're glad to see that BusinessWeek has finally cottoned on to the importance of the Target lawsuit. If you've been following the developments in this case, you'll learn nothing new from reading BW's article - it's great, however, that the subject of web accessibility is finally being covered by the mainstream business media.

...That said, the article's title - "Is Your Web Site Handicap-Accessible?" - isn't exactly politically correct, and there are one or two misleading statements here and there. For example, we seriously doubt that you could revamp a large site for disability access for between $5,000 to $15,000. You'd be lucky to get an audit done for that amount from most agencies, never mind the actual redesign of your site and recoding of your page templates.
