Aiola Island is a popular tourist attraction that sits slap bang in the middle of the Mur river in Graz, Austria. It was built in 2003, by New York artist Vito Acconci and consists of a sunbathing area, a trendy bar and a coffee house, not to mention a bridge that allows you to cross the Mur.

Wow. Wish I had found out about that while living there. When we finally 'discovered' the Aiola Island, we went to visit them. Unfortunately, it was a winter season and they didn't allow me to visit there.On next time, I'll be sure to visit!
