Coco Reynolds' "LadyBird" bath 28 Nov 2007

A deep, compact bath - with a sink / draining board for a lid.

The last time I took a bath in the sink, I was in nappies (Well...I wasn't wearing a nappy at the time...but you get what I mean). Er...anyway...the compact bath-sink combo pictured above is Coco Reynolds' "LadyBird" - a product designed with tiny studio flats in mind. As Yanko Design explains:

"On the top, you have a vanity with a built in sink yet when you lift the lid of the sink, the Ladybird opens up to a place where you can relax and find comfort while you bathe. Although smaller in size than the typical Western style baths, the Ladybird bath allows you the relaxation needed with less space and less water. A retractable push step is readily available to use when entering and exiting the bath. Available in red, black and white, the Ladybird bath and vanity is the answer to a much needed peace in a busy world."

Pretty interesting site you've got here. Thanks the author for it. I like such themes and anything that is connected to them. I would like to read a bit more soon.
