Bright Blind creates fake windows 26 Nov 2007

What appears to be a typical venetian blind.

If you work in a windowless office, you'll love this. Makoto Hirahara's "Bright Blind" can be hung on any window-free wall to create the illusion of a window covered by a venetian blind. In case you were wondering, the diffused "sunlight" that appears to be coming in from the world outside is produced via electroluminescent sheets affixed to the slats on the blind. Just as with a real blind, you can twist the plastic stick that dangles by the side of the blind to move the slats and thereby adjust the level of brightness.

It was certainly interesting for me to read that post. Thanks for it. I like such themes and anything that is connected to this matter. I definitely want to read a bit more on that blog soon.
