Thoughts on the original Macintosh User Manual 3 Sep 2007

Peter Merholz recently purchased an original Macintosh User Manual on eBay and "was struck by how it had to explain a total paradigm shift in interacting with computers". The picture above shows how the manual explains the strange new world of scrolling to an unfamiliar public!
