Unusual input devices #001: The Ergodex DX1 Input System 3 Sep 2007

The Ergodex DX1Input System consists of a rather large pad (about the size of a large mousepad) and 25 self-adhesive keys. These keys can be attached to the surface of the pad in any configuration you want, allowing you to create a keyboard that is built around the unique geometry of your hands..or, if comfort isn't what you're after, they can be arranged in functional clusters or "logical neighborhoods" instead.

Furthermore, you can define the function of each key. This provides great flexibility as - in addition to assigning keys to single letters, digits or symbols (e.g. "P", "1", ";"), you can also assign them to multi key Macros (e.g. Ctrl+Alt+Delete)...or even have them paste blocks of text or launch websites!
