Building design is all smoke and mirrors 30 Aug 2007

This is what happens when you design a building with a parabolic glass facade (and forget to factor in the effects of the sun):

Note how the reflected sunlight has scorched the grass on the building's lawn. Not a good spot for sunbathing!

HAHA that's pretty funny, i wonder how many claims for burnt retina's have been filed?

Also i noticed on Google street view the block across the street is pretty bare... I don't know why nobody wants to move in. :-)
