It's a great card, but not original to Mitnick. The original idea was one by Jeni Matison who developed it for a client and it was subsequently artfully copied by Mitnick.
I did an extensive writeup about it on my own blog, you can read it about here.

Yeah not original to him but it's a very clever idea. As someone mentioned, it's not very practical as it doesn't have a torsion wrench but still a great marketing ploy.

Denis: Thanks for the pointer (Great writeup btw :)
SEO: Thanks for the comment (The missing torsion wrench is a good spot!)

i believe the torsion wrench is the flat bar at the bottom of the card. after you remove it from the holder, you bend it 90 degrees towards you.

They should have made the design with a hole at the end of the handle part so if and when you break them out you can put them on a split ring and add it to your keychain or something to keep them together. But one could always drill them anyway.

I'm trying to keep away from reading posts like this. It is totally meaningless. Ain't it shame to post rubbish like this?

Iven if this card isn't original to Mitnick, I consider it great and vey useful although it is true that a torsion wrench it will make it more practical,
