HTML5: Making <progress> 9 Aug 2007

After eight years of waiting, we finally have a new version of the HyperText Markup Language to get excited about: HTML5!

IBM provides a great summary of what's been added to the spec. New structural elements include <header>, <footer>, <nav>, <aside>, <figure>, and <section>. New inline elements include <time>, <meter>, and <progress>. New embedding elements include <video> and <audio>. New interactive elements include <details>, <datagrid>, and <command>.
