Publishing a PDF is not enough (?) 3 May 2007

Leading technology lawyer Struan Robertson says that Adobe PDF documents need to be accompanied by accessible HTML or text-only versions if they are to comply with the UK's Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1995 / 2005.

This is an interesting development, given all the work that Adobe has done to make PDFs more accessible. It will be interesting to see how they respond.
