Unicef ads catch shoppers cold 10 Apr 2007

To illustrate the plight of the children of Kashmir, Unicef placed a series of ads in Norwegian supermarket freezers.

Great idea, but the problem I have with these types of ads is that there's no way to take immediate action - i.e. I can't donate there and then. So by the time I got back from the supermarket, I'd have probably forgotten all about it.

Right. I suppose you have the same complaint about billboards and television ads? You can't (buy/donate/etc) right then and there. Advertising should be limited to kiosks that you can use instantly.
Give me a break.
