Free photocopies for Japanese students 10 Apr 2007

Tadacopy is offering free photocopies to students at Japanese universities. What's the catch? The company prints ads on the back of the copy paper (which is slightly thicker than normal to prevent ads from shining through) to fund itself. For JPY 400,000, advertisers can have their message printed on 10,000 sheets of paper. Sounds like a great idea to us.

(JPY 400,000 = approx. £1,700 GBP; 2,500 EUR or $3,360 USD)
