The ring faucet 29 Mar 2007

The "ring faucet" by Lim Sun Liang from the National University of Singapore - winner of the red dot: luminary at the red dot award: design concept 2006:

The ring faucet in 'off' mode. It's tap is a thin strip of metal with a hole punched right the way through it at the end that sits over the sink.

The ring faucet in 'on' mode. Water flows through the hole to create a sort of cylinder of running water effect.

Very nice. I wonder if anyone has made anything like that but for computer light. If you go to any tech store, you can find only ugly metal lamps.
