Tom Smith measured the popularity of Microsoft, Yahoo! and Google by determining how many 'O's you'd need to add to their domain names before you could find an available one. Here are the results (number of 'O's in red on the right):

Microsoft = 2, Yahoo! = 25, Google = 46

I bet the guy who owns Google with 45 "o"s gets loads of traffic - such a common mispelling!
