"Reaction [beta]"

Out-googling Google 2 Jan 2007

The New York Times has an interesting article on the renaissance of search as an area of innovation. Last year saw the introduction of many new search engines - e.g. Like.com, Cha-Cha, hakia, Snap, Powerset, Wikia Search and Ask X - each offering new and exciting ways of finding information. So will 2007 be the year that someone finally out-googles Google?

i think askx has the best chance. the rest are too gimmicky.
