OLPC UI revealed! 4 Jan 2007

Take a look at this video of the OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) user interface (code-named "Sugar"). Unlike its commercial counterparts, it ditches the traditional office metaphors in favour of a "neighbourhood" and an "activity-based journaling" approach:

The Associated Press is reporting that user testing of the laptop and its UI will begin in February. Er...shouldn't you have been user testing them from the outset guys?!

The GUI of the OLPC (called Sugar) is great, I have tested it.
