All I want for Christmas is...a Nintendo Wii, a Bratz doll... 13 Dec 2006

After spending the last ten weekends listening to your kids reel off what they want for Christmas, you've probably been relieved to get back to work on a Monday morning.

Unfortunately for you Walmart's Toyland website now helps children draw up a "wishlist" of the presents they'd like to receive and then lets them email their demands to their parents. So now they can pester you at work or wherever else you have a net connection. Thanks Walmart!

I don't know how much parents have to worry about this... Has anybody actually tried using the Toyland website? Maybe it's an adults versus kids thing, but I (as an adult) can't figure out what on earth I'm supposed to click on or what I'm supposed to do on the site. What's with the yellow arrow pointer? No matter what I hover over it looks exactly the same! Having picked something fun but completely unconventional for their mouse cursor, I can't figure out what's clickable in Toyland and what's not. Good luck making your Christmas lists, kids!

Maybe that's just the adult version, whereas the kids' one is less complicated. New marketing strategy, haha!
