"Web 2.0 is all about connecting people". But not your sort.

O'Reilly's Web 2.0 Conference, due to be held in November, aims to bring "the intelligence, innovation, and leadership of the internet industry together in one place at one time."

Sounds great - but there's a catch. You can't just buy a ticket and turn up to the event. You've got to register first and then wait to see if you're deemed worthy of an invite.

"Wait a minute," you say, "that's not how conferences work! It's completely unfair!". Stop living in the past. Conferences 1.0 might have worked that way, but this is Conferences 2.0 baby! ;-)
